Florida slated to build library park
Via the Library Journal comes news of a $200,000 state grant to build a $1.5 million Library Park on a 5.8-acre site adjacent to the Weston Branch Library in Broward County, Florida.
The library park will be "geared for reading and studying activities outdoors" according to City Manager John Flint, and will have "have benches, lighting, and walkways/exercise paths...a fountain will be built to look like an open stack of books."
