Information Counters: Several information counters shall be functioning at the entrance as well as inside the pavilions to support the visitors with information . Publishers prize: P ublishers, whose contributions were found to be honoured, are selected and felicitated every year under the patronage and presence of His Highness The Ruler of Sharjah. UAE Book Prize: The Best UAE Book prize of the year shall be announced and given away during the book fair. Associated Cultural Activities: Children's programme: Daily programme in co-ordination with the Children's Cultural Centres in Sharjah. General cultural programme : Daily programme in co-ordination with the Cultural Directorate (Dept of Culture & Information). Specialised programme : In accordance with programmes prepared by the Organizing Committee of the Sharjah Book Fair. All these activities are during the evenings only (from 1 7 : 0 0 hrs to 22:00 hrs).
